Whereas: A National Right to Work
law would repeal the federally granted power union bosses wield to force 11 million
American workers to pay dues and fees just to keep their jobs; and
Whereas: The federally imposed system
of compulsory unionism breeds economic hardship, union violence, lost jobs, reduced
productivity, higher taxes and corruption; and
Whereas: A National Right to Work
law means lower unemployment, better jobs, greater economic growth, lower taxes
and a competitive advantage for America’s workers and businesses; and
Whereas: Nearly 80% of the American
people oppose compulsory unionism;
Therefore: In the interests of a strong economy,
individual freedom and more jobs, I urge you to cosponsor and seek roll-call votes
on the National Right to Work Act (S. 391/H.R. 612).
